Andrew Scott Boguslawski Stopped For Speeding; Had 48 Bombs In Car

According to the state trooper who stopped him for going 85 mph in a 70-mph zone, Boguslawski said he had no weapons. However, the officer returned with a ticket and saw the handle of a gun between the man's knees.

"At that point, he drew his service weapon, held the man there and called for backup," said Adkins.

That's scary!

"Andrew Scott Boguslawski is also a groundskeeper at a National Guard training center near Butlerville, in south-central Indiana. Lt. Col. Cathy Van Bree told The Dispatch Boguslawski is an Indiana National Guard specialist who does intelligence analysis and has top-secret clearance."

Can't find a whole lot on this guy so far, but here is his LinkedIn resume:

The place where he works, is an old State mental hospital that has been turned into training facility for the Indiana National Guard as well as for dozens of other groups who need to be trained to shoot out windows, blow up buildings and other similar activities.

All of a sudden the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC) website doesn't seem to work but here is another source for information on it:

"Lt. Col. Cathy Van Bree told The Associated Press by email on Wednesday that Boguslawski's security clearance has been suspended, along with "all favorable personnel actions," meaning he can't be promoted, receive awards or other privileges.

Boguslawski was transferred in November to the medical discharge unit, but Van Bree said she couldn't discuss any information about his condition."

Guardsman found with explosives had more than initially reported

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/01/10/Guardsman-explosives-charges.html

Boguslawski, 43, did not testify during the hearing, but his attorney, Mark Babb of Dayton, argued that there was no evidence that Boguslawski made the explosives in Madison County and, because of that lack of evidence, the charges against Boguslawski should be thrown out. Babb said there also was no evidence that Boguslawski planned to hurt anyone.

^ Um...Okay !?
