LOL, yes- the Maynard case. :laugh: He objected to the motto on religious grounds (Jehova's Witness, life being more precious than freedom...) Yet it was a coup for freedom of speech. The Supreme Court agreed with him. BTW- he later did the same thing in CT with their plate motto, "The Constitution State" and had no problems, LOL.Puca said:And New Hampshire is the state that has "Live free or die" on its car plates?
Many years ago a man covered that state logo with masking tape and ended up in prison to prove a point. It got way out of hand, as might this case.
