• Her Loc LKA (Brisbane) is about 185 miles north of where the remains were located.
• Her height (5'9"-5'10") is at the upper end of the height estimate ('5'1" to 5'9")
• She was last seen a week before Christmas 2004 - Consistent with the Christmas theme TShirt.
• She had a recent car accident, which might explain the prior injuries. (However, the accident may have been too recent, as the UID's injuries were described as "old")
• Not a bad resemblance to the facial reconstruction

Both the MP and UID indicate "Sample Submitted - Tests Complete". So there probably would have been a DNA hit if this was a match.

LaMadrid also has a really strong resemblance to Tent Jane Doe, but again that should have been a DNA hit.

I'd think the combination of the secondary ridge over the eyebrow and crook of the nose would be pretty unique.

It sounds more like he was a crazy homeless dude or something and they just wanted him locked up for a while. Other charges usually means there was a warrant out for him on something that happened earlier.

Brisbane Police Department spokeswoman Michelle Moneda said the department is hoping the effort will bring them closer to understanding of how female skeletal remains found wrapped in a comforter and partially buried on a Brisbane mountainside got there. Discovered in 2013, examination of the bones and clothing found at the scene shed some light on who this Jane Doe was — between 33 and 46 years old, between 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 9 inches in height, with European ancestry and deceased between 2001 and 2008. Outside of the brand of clothing found with the remains and a healed bone injury from what investigators believe could have been sustained in a traffic accident, little else is known about the woman, said Moneda.

Case History: Partial skull retained from a male during an arrest by Brisbane Police Department. The male stated he found the skull in a tree while walking and the skull called out his name. The male does not remember where the tree is. The remains have not been located as of yet. Possibly related to UP #10944.
