Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Missing Chelmsford Woman May Be in Lowell Area -

Chelmsford Police don't suspect foul play, but they are looking for tips for a missing woman who was last seen Monday afternoon. Deputy Police Chief Jim Spinney said Brittany Chiasson likely is in the Lowell area, and police believe she left voluntarily.

Lowell always makes me think of Jack Kerouac.

    Come back home, Brittany.

She's had issues with at least alcohol:

    Saturday, June 30

Maybe it's just me but I think she looks so much older than 28.

She does look much older. I have a few relatives who have gone to Salter (her school) and they all have a lot of issues with drugs and alcohol. I'm not sure if that school specializes in training folks to take their life back and join the work force or if it's just a traditional type school. My guess is she's in Lowell with less than stellar people.

The Lowell Sun article says that "detectives were considering all possibilities, including taking into account a possible link to Chaisson's past issues with substance-abuse.

Also, the article says she took $200 out from an ATM Monday. What concerns me is that there is a batch of tainted heroin being reported in the NH news--Lowell is on the border of NH

This may be a big jump in logic, but its the first thing I thought of.

The 28-year-old woman from Chelmsford reported missing earlier this week was found dead in Dracut Friday afternoon, according to police.

Brittany Chiasson was reported missing to Chelmsford police by her parents on Tuesday. She was found at 3 p.m. on Friday in her car at a parking lot off Bridge Street, and officials believe that she died of a heroin overdose, according to Dracut Deputy Police Chief David Chartrand.

Police obtained video surveillance of the parking lot at 227 18th St., and it appears that Chiasson arrived at the parking lot on Monday around 2:30 p.m., Chartrand said. The vehicle never left, he said.

Another gone too soon. RIP Brittany, so sorry for her loved ones.
