GUILTY CA - Martha Rodezno, 51, found dead on Santa Ana freeway, 8 Dec 2013

Police have arrested Jacqwun Laerin Turner in connection with the death of Martha Rodezno on a ramp of Freeway 22, Santa Ana, Dec 8th. Martha was seen to eject out of the passenger side of a fuel truck, which didn't stop. Turner drives a fuel truck.

I was certain we had a thread for this case, but I can't find it. Any links would be appreciated. I want to make sure we have identified Martha if she's in our UIDs.

Yes this was bizarre! She was last seen at the I5/Avery ramp. The link to the ABC story seems to be broken, but here is KTLA

Very, very strange circs. I wonder if they knew each other, or if was expecting *payment for the ride*?

It will be interesting to see if they somehow connect this guy to the other missing women from Santa Ana, for 2013.

Here are a couple of earlier articles about the case. It does sound as though Martha might have just hitched a ride from a stranger after leaving the home upset. In the video at the first link below you can see her open bag sitting on the highway. It does make me wonder if she jumped from the vehicle willingly, or how desperate she must have been if she did.

It will be very interesting to see if connections are made to any other cases.
