Canada - Joshua Miller, 20, St John, NL, 10 Feb 2013

The RNC reiterated its plea to the public today to bring forth any information they may have about the disappearance of Joshua Miller.

Miller, 20, was reported missing on Feb. 10, 2013. He was last seen when he left downtown in the early morning hours of Feb. 8 and jumped out of a cab near Stavanger Drive.

Miller was in a physical altercation downtown before jumping into the cab and disappearing. He was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt despite the cold temperatures. The RNC said they have ruled out the altercation having anything to do with his disappearance.

There has been no activity on any of Miller’s financial accounts since he was last seen. Despite this, the RNC is not assuming anything.

“At this point we have no evidence to suggest he is not alive but, again, we remain open to all possibilities,” said Barron.

Miller is described as 6’1” and 185 lbs with short sand-coloured hair and blue eyes.

New information concerning a St. John’s man who vanished without a trace over a year ago has convinced police to search the Mount Scio Road area of the city.

Joshua Miller, 20, was initially reported missing Feb. 10, 2013. He was reportedly involved in an altercation on George Street and was placed in a cab by friends. Miller was later dropped off in the Stavanger Drive area wearing only jeans and a t-shirt.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said on Friday that it had received new information in the case of the missing 20-year-old man, who has not been seen since Feb. 10, 2013.

The search was to have lasted through the weekend in the area of Mount Scio Road. However, after searching a square kilometre in the area on Saturday, investigators and searchers did not resume their search on Sunday as planned.

Police have not said what new information promoted them to shift to the Mount Scio area, or why the search only lasted one day over the weekend and not two.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

We are all one poor choice from being a subject on this forum. Think twice.

Very sad. I've never heard of this young man until now. Just thought I'd point out that St.John's is in Newfoundland (the thread title says Ontario).

New Brunswick, isn't it? Actually, there is a St John community in Ontario.

There is a city of St.John in New Brunswick but this young man is missing from St.John's (the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador).

Of course. Now I understand what RNC is, too. Thanks!
I'll alert the thread for title updating.

What a mystery! Newfoundland is an island, so he couldn't leave without a record of it somewhere. He didn't fall into a river since it was February and the rivers would be frozen. He wouldn't likely make it over to the ocean wearing just a t-shirt and jeans. Where did he go? Did he climb in a dumpster? How could he disappear in St. John's in the winter??
