GAINESVILLE -
The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating following the disappearance of an Oakwood woman, last seen Monday evening. She was last seen at her residence in the 5500 block of Rain Tree Trace in Oakwood around 10:00 p.m. Monday, according to the sheriff's office. That was the last time family or friends saw her.

FB is pretty benign. Has two kids. Normal type postings. Her sister has numerous posts trying to find her.

oh how sad. I think Angela was not far? Gville is NE GA.

Very sad...wonder what happened. LE is saying no obvious sign of foul play.

It's always so sad, and if it's got to be this end, it's better sooner than later, IMO. I don't know how people deal with a missing loved one day after day or longer! Blessings to her children and family.

Investigators don't know right now if they are working a murder investigation or if she died from a medical issue, but they say there is no history of drug abuse or depression. Bailes said her in-laws are cooperating.

“Pending the outcome of the autopsy determine the direction we take with this investigation,” Bailes said.

Investigators say there were no physical injuries on Strickland's body. They say she was divorced but living with her ex-in-laws.

Investigators say missing Oakwood woman was murdered

ugh, love when they update the headline but not the article, which still reads, toward the end, that there is no suspicion of foul play.

OT - Divorced but living with ex-inlaws. Wonder how common that is. Not throwing any suspicion - that detail just got me thinking about the concept in general.

A Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said a suspect has not been identified in the death of an Oakwood woman whose body was found Feb. 8.

“I don’t think that they have anyone right now that they’re looking at specifically,” Deputy Nicole Bailes said. “But of course they are encouraging anyone with information to still give us a call.”

Well manner of death is homicide, first of all...it must be cause of death they won't release...JMO
