    AR - Janice Northcross, 43, Ashdown, 8 Feb 2014

    Janice Northcross

The search continues for an Ashdown mother. Janice Northcross, 43, went missing around 2 a.m. Saturday. Family members said she was thrown off a bridge after an 18-wheeler slid into her car and two other vehicles.
When from a long distant past nothing persists. After the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone. More persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence. The vast structure of recollection........"

There may be a break in the search for an Ashdown woman missing since she either fell or jumped from an icy bridge on I30 over the Red River in Arkansas 2 weeks ago.

Sheriff's officials believe a cadaver dog may have hit on a spot in the river where her remains may be found.
