MO - Jordy Wagner, 47 & William 'Pat' Talley, 54, Reynolds County, 1 Feb. 2014

Jordy Wagner, a 47-year-old white female, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing about 200, and William Talley, a 54-year-old white male, approximately 6 foot tall and weighing about 250 pounds, were last seen in their 1993 blue Chevrolet S-10 Blazer with Missouri plates YF2 J1M.

They were last seen on Feb. 1 cashing a check at Peoples Community Bank in Piedmont, in neighboring Wayne County, just a few miles from their home at 150 County Road 419A in the Bluffview area of upper Clearwater Lake in Reynolds County, near the Reynolds and Wayne county line.

A relative contacted the sheriff’s office on Feb. 4 saying neither Wagner or Talley had not seen since Saturday. The relative became concerned when Wagner did not contact her for several days

Relatives went to the couple’s home and found there was no heat and the family pets had been left there.

According to Sheriff Tom Volner, interviews with the neighbors put the missing couple at their home at approximately 4 p.m. on Feb. 1.

A search of the area around the home produced no results.

I wonder if someone carjacked them at the bank -- or if there's somewhere they could have driven off the road where the vehicle wouldn't be seen.

    Update

    They own NO CELL PHONE
Feb 2nd Cut wood w/neighbor last time seen 4pm

Dogs dish was frozen inside house
    Coats left behind

On a side note: Hubby and I went for a drive down there as we do not live but couple hours from their home. The area they live in is heavily wooded and are but only a couple miles from Clearwater Lake which you can access by land or boat.
People who live out in this area are people who like to be left alone or otherwise private.
The weather has been below 32 degrees for two weeks. Yesterday was the first time we had temps up above 40's for awhile. The snows are melting off today so maybe they will have a better time finding them. I personally think foul play is a definite! To many clues pointing to that.....
Will keep updating as new details come to light.

In this article it mentions that they went to the bank, then the following afternoon they cut firewood with a neighbor. Unless they went twice to the bank, it is unlikely they were carjacked from the bank. IMOO.

Car accident maybe? They ran an errand and wrecked off the road somewhere. Troubling that coats were left behind...but it's been below freezing for so long where I live, that I've gotten use to it enogh that if I'm running a quick errand, a turtleneck and hoodie are usually fine. Maybe not a good practice!

Were wallets or ID found left behind too?

This sounds like an accident somewhere. Maybe they are tracing their route. But they could have gone anywhere on a quick errand and had an accident. So scary. Time for flyovers!

This is her mom's obituary. Two and a half years ago, they were living in TX. Would they have headed back that way?

The thing is, they left the family pets in the house and the water dish was frozen as there was no heat. I think leaving pets behind in this matter is very odd, and sad for the pets, cruel even. Thank God someone rescued the pets.
Unless of course they left to go elsewhere thinking that someone was taking
care of their pets in their house, but the relative wasn't aware of that because the relative didn't mention they left on vacation...so it all seems odd to me.......
    IMOO.

It has been very cold in the area, most nights down in single digits or below since they went missing. It's been a rough winter. I don't think they just willingly went somewhere. It's been too cold to go anywhere without a coat. I don't believe someone who planned to leave would have been cutting wood for heat just prior to leaving. I'm curious as to the source of the photos of the two and how recent they are. I'm not sure I fully agree that people living in the area are doing so for privacy. Real estate prices are lower and the cost of living is lower than many parts of the state. A lot of people relocate to the area from other states because of that.

Does anyone know the size or dollar amount of the check they cashed? Was it enough to sustain for a while? Did they have or use ATM or Debit cards ever?

With the age of the Blazer could it possibly broken down out an off road? Did they heat their home with wood or was there other heating source. It's possible if they heated with wood and they were not there to feed the fire...no heat.

It's a pretty safe bet they heated with wood. In this area propane prices skyrocketed to over $5 per gallon. Many of those using propane as a backup to wood heat couldn't afford the minimums to buy more during the cold weather. Some companies were rationing the amount you could buy. So there's been lots of mid-winter wood cutting and splitting as many have gone through more wood than a typical winter.

They just look like driver's license photos. They are the same in my state. A Missouri driver's license is valid for six years at their age, so the photos could be up to six years old.

I wonder if anything was missing from their house. Is their car missing? Anyone know?
I always wondered why somebody doesn't do something about that. Then I realized I was somebody.

The second article on the original post says they are believed to be in their Blazer, so it must be missing.
