IPSWICH, Australia —
If there were awards for such things, an Australian teen would assuredly win the prize for most unique robbery attempt.
According to the Queensland Times, police were called to a local 7-Eleven store after reports that a chainsaw-wielding suspect, wearing a flowerpot on his head to disguise his identity, made a memorable attempt to rob the store. more at link: http://www.wftv.com/news/news/chain...nt_internallink_relatedcontent_2014_partners2

Maybe he was just trying to "get back to his roots"... :waitasec:

:spring:

Maybe he was robbing a 7-11 because being a florist just wasn't "cutting it"?

:spring:

Soooo... this "budding" Texas Chainsaw Massacre-ist was carrying a chainsaw, and wearing a flower pot on his head... and nothing else? :behind:

Seems he will be the "butt' of a lot of jokes from now on.... :behind:

Maybe he was just trying to dispel the myth that potheads don't commit violent crimes.

Oh what I wouldn't give to see a video !!!

I wonder what his excuse (defense) will be...

I bet it will be full of "fertilizer"...

I heard he rode a bike to the scene of the crime...

And expected to just "petal" away...

:bicycle:

I wonder if he "planted" any evidence...

Hoping to frame this crime on some other poor "sap"...

:sleuth:

Hey, deranged chainsaw wielding, plant pot wearing thief! :dj:

The 80's called... :phone:

DEVO said they want their hat back! :furious:

I wonder if his friends always knew his head was just filled with "sod"?

:waitasec:

So the perp was wielding a chain saw...

Hmmm....

I wonder if he was just trying to "slash" prices?

:twocents: $$$

Maybe he just cracked after always being a "wall flower"....

Seems he didn't learn good manners when he was a child in the "nursery"... :baby:
