    PA - Gregory Andino, 38, Philadelphia, 2 Feb 2014

Police are searching for a Philadelphia man who went missing after his car crashed near 30th Street Station.

Investigators say Gregory Andino, 38, left his home around 3 p.m. on February 2 to watch the Super Bowl with his friends at an unknown location.

Andino spoke with his wife around 3:30 a.m. on February 3. Andino told her he was driving and on his way to pick her up when his phone went dead.

Around 4:45 a.m. that same morning, State Police responded to a car crash at I-76 West and 30th Street Station. When they arrived, they found Andino's black 2006 GMC Denali.

Investigators say the driver side airbag was deployed and there was heavy front end damage.

Police say they also found Andino’s belongings inside the vehicle. Officials searched the surrounding area as well as local hospitals but Andino was nowhere to be found.

Andino was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a white stripe or gray stripe on each sleeve and light-colored sneakers.

Family members say Andino is a father of two children. They are holding a rally tonight at 6 p.m. on the 700 blockk of North Franklin Street to raise awareness on his disappearance.

The site of the crash was very close to the Schuylkill River. Hope they've searched there.

I wonder if he got a concussion or worse and stumbled out of the car and into the river.

It's odd that the doors of the truck were closed.

Also, the LMN database says that he crashed near 39th Street station, which I think doesn't even exist. It has to be 30th Street station where, iirc, there isn't much shoulder and it is right on the river.

Reminds me of Shane Fell (I think that's right) in Louisiana, next to the Mississippi River. Never been found.

I wish we had more info about where the party was and where his location was when he spoke to his wife at 3:30. I also wonder how much time elapsed between his accident and when the cops arrived at 4:45.

I can't see Gregorio on here but I think it would be a good idea if he was.

Crashed into what? A guardrail...another vehicle? I dont find it odd that the door was closed. If he exited the car he would likely shut the door. Any indication of injury...blood?

Good catch! This has me wondering now too...either of those offenses could easily result in jail time if convicted, so maybe he is on the run and the accident was just part of the plan? I don't know how he could do that to his wife though. From what I've read, is it safe to assume this was a single-car accident?

These two photos show the extensive front end damage and the approximate location of the accident.

If you read the description in the missing photo I posted above, it says all doors were found OPEN, so I don't what information is correct regarding the doors.

I'm wondering if the info is getting confusing because it's rather about locked/unlocked?
Maybe all doors were closed but not locked, thus open(able)? Just thinking out loud...
