CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A man has been accused of breaking into a church and using the pastor's computer to look at Internet *advertiser censored*. Donald R. Kendrick, 29, was arrested Tuesday night after a scuffle with Charleston police Cpl. T. George, who was responding to a report that a light was on inside the First Presbyterian Church.
George found the suspect hiding under a desk. The man fled down a hallway, spraying George with pepper spray as he ran. The two men tumbled down a flight of stone steps during the chase, Lt. Jim Sands said.
Kendrick, a resident of a Charleston shelter, suffered a broken ankle and lacerations to the head. George was treated for a knee injury and abrasions.
