    Description:
Purple leopard-print hoodie, a black muscle shirt and khaki shorts.
Tattoo of a "clown-faced girl" on his left arm and two tattoos on his chest.

Texas EquuSearch crews are looking for a missing Houston teen who was last seen on Valentine's Day.

According to family members, 17-year-old Antonio Saldivar was last seen on Friday, February 14. His vehicle was later found wrecked and abandoned near a Valero gas station in the 8000 block of Harrisburg early Saturday morning. His shoes were found inside the car.

Oh no, his shoes were inside? I wonder if his girlfriend ever saw him or if she even lives close to where the car was found. I am so happy that TES is searching for him now.

Antonio Saldivar, a junior at Houston Can Academy, told his mother he was bringing his girlfriend a teddy bear and watch on Valentine’s Day.

Saldivar borrowed his mother’s car that night but never came home.

“I’m really terrified. I tell my daughter, he hasn’t eaten so why should I,” said mother Connie Netro.

The car was found smashed into a concrete beam early the next morning at the intersection of Navigation and Harrisburg.

A wrecker driver told the family that the accident happened Saturday just before 4:30 a.m.

According to family members, police showed up around 4:50 a.m. to find an abandoned car.

His shoes in the car caught my attention, too. It's a strange fact...

I wonder if he suffered a head injury, became disoriented and wandered off? I hope he's found safe and alive. And I hope it's not something more sinister like a carjacking or something.

Teen lover's mysterious Valentine's disappearance baffles the police: Car wrecked, only shoes found

There is a photo with the shoes, but I think that I see also jeans/pants on the seat...

I see khaki's on the seat, with a grey belt in the belt loops. Both are on the passenger side?

Didn't the description say he had on khaki shorts? So, he left the vehicle without his shorts and shoes?

You're right, he was wearing khaki shorts!
But why is the focus on the shoes only?

Maybe he was unconscious for some time and his body temperature decreased, and this is why he took off his clothes (Paradoxical undressing) before he wandered off?
How was the weather there at the time of the accident?

It looks to me one of his shoes has drops on it, and the other is scuffed looking, where the other isn't, or appears to have mud on it? Perhaps the latter issues are lighting.

The khaki's on the seat make no sense.

This is all very odd, especially the shoes and pants left in the car.
Are we sure he was wearing those exact shoes/pants when he left his house? Being that they are on the passenger side, I wondered if they were perhaps work shoes/pants he kept in his car for work?

Also looks to me like there is a pair of black ballet flats in the car too. One between the two brown shoes and one inside one of the brown shoes. Looks like there is a green logo in the instep? I can't make it out though.

    Is the girlfriend accounted for?

I thought of that with the shoes too. Seems an odd choice of shoes to wear with a black tank and a purple hoodie.
