Man missing from Colorado Springs -

Grant Michael Frazier, 61, went missing back in Feb. 16. Police said the circumstances of his disappearance are considered “suspicious.” Frazier, according to police, was last seen with a woman 40 years younger than him. She is 21-year-old Bionca Rogers and police said she is considered a person of interest in this investigation. The pair may be in Frazier’s white Mitsubishi Galant. It has Colorado plates 193XXM.

Crazy....this is all over our news here in Des Moines today (about 30 miles from Newton.)

Wish this case would get a little more attention.

A 40 yr age gap between perp and victim is NOT that common at these ages unless it's family members.

And it's even LESS likely to see it w/ the female being the murderer, never mind the one far younger.

Curious what's going on with this and their ties and then why she would kill him.

A 4th Judicial District Court judge found probable cause Tuesday to charge an Iowa woman with the first-degree murder of a Colorado Springs man whose body was found stuffed in the trunk of his abandoned car in Iowa after he was reported missing.

Bionca Charmaine Rogers, 21, was denied bond by Judge Marla Prudek, who admitted the case against Rogers was mainly circumstantial but said the prosecution had gathered enough evidence to charge Rogers with first-degree murder, robbery and tampering with physical evidence...

Rogers will be held at the El Paso County jail pending an arraignment scheduled for Oct. 1.

October 1 has come and gone; but I haven't seen any later articles.

Anyone?

August 4, 2015. A 22-year-old Colorado Springs woman was found guilty Tuesday in the stabbing death of 61-year-old Grant Frazier. Bionca Rogers was convicted by a jury of all counts against her, including first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and murder after deliberation. She was immediately sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole.

Frazier was killed Feb. 16, 2014, in Colorado Springs and his body was found nine days later in the trunk of his white Mitsubishi Galant in the parking lot of a Newton, Iowa, apartment complex.

In testimony Friday, Rogers said that she drove to her hometown to give her family custody of her 4-year-old daughter DeVariana, who was sleeping in the backseat of the car while she killed Frazier and hid his body. She said she stabbed Frazier because he was trying to rape her.
