The Michigan State Police post in Jackson this week released artist renderings of the woman, whose body was discovered Aug. 29, 1978 on Clear Lake Road in Jackson County’s Waterloo Township. Police believe her body was dumped around 9:20 a.m. that day.

Another dead woman was found that morning and identified in 1978.
    From: http://www.mlive.com/news/jackson/in...ound_in_j.html
The unidentified victim is believed to be a black woman, who was between 28- and 40- years-old at her death. She was approximately 5-foot, 3-inches to 5-foot, 7-inches tall, weighed 130 pounds and wore an auburn wig that was wavy and collar length.

Detectives believe the woman may have been from the metro Detroit area.

Another female victim was found that morning and was identified as being from the Detroit area.

The only thing I keep coming up with is Ila Maynard.NamUS 22946. Last seen in 1974.

A little young but height and weight seem about right. She would have been about 21 in 1978. My opinion is she ran away from her husband and that's how she ended up in MI as she's from NC.

She liked to wear weaves in her hair.

She liked to go by her middle name....Veronica Tucker.

It's a stretch but I am scouring for others and coming up empty handed.

I'm thinking Ila's chin is not as prominent as Waterloo Doe.

This lady, Martha Dick has the look of Waterloo Doe, but the circumstances are questionable. She is believed to have been killed and thrown in a ditch in South Carolina by mass murderer Pee Wee Gaskins. Hmmm....

Missing 1972, would be 25 when UID was found. Five foot four and 155 lbs. I wish the circumstances matched.

I wonder if there is more information about the other woman who was found the same day and identified back in 1978?

Bumping for this poor girl. No rule outs but DNA is available... it just hasn't been submitted yet. I wish they would get on that.

The only one I'm finding is Margarite Daniel, missing from Detroit since June 1978: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/25144/
    http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...arguerite.html

She is a little outside the age range at 47 and no mention of shoulder or nose injuries, but her height is within range (5'5") and I think her chin and nose are close.
No mention of previous injuries to her shoulder and nose however.
