Search resumes for Langley teen missing for nearly a week -

Nicholas Hannon was last seen Feb. 24 by his father. The 19-year-old from Walnut Grove was reported missing Feb. 27 after his vehicle was located abandoned at a dead end of McKinnon Crescent in the 10400 block area. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Missing man in my city. So hope he is found safe and sound! I saw his father on the news and he is desperately trying to find his son.

It has been said he is not into drugs, not the type to run away, etc.

His car found abandoned really concerns me.

Here is something else that stands out:

    http://www.langleytimes.com/news/248129961.html

"The Hannon family has suffered tragedy before.

Nicholas’ sister Heather is the widow of Alvin Wright who was shot and killed by a Langley police officer in August 2010. Heather and Alvin had a baby girl at the time of his death."

Yes, sad that this seemed to get very little attention from the get go.

SAR did search the park his car was found near to. Fraser River borders one side of the park...

Tue, Mar 4 – 19-year-old Nicholas Hannon last spoke to his family one week ago and his abandoned car has since been found on a dead-end road in Langley. Today Hannon’s father hired a dog handler to help search for his son. Rumina Daya reports.
    My opinion is MINE!

New tips come from second search for Nicholas Hannon

Langley RCMP are following up on new tips generated from last Saturday’s search for missing Walnut Grove resident Nicholas Hannon.

    [snip]

Nicholas’ cellphone has not been used, said Craig.

Nicholas has no history of depression and his family said he was happy when they last saw him.

He’s a homebody and doesn’t have a big circle of friends. Craig hired a man with tracking dogs to go through the park but that didn’t turn up any clues.

Within days of Nicholas going missing, Craig offered a $10,000 reward for the safe return of his son.

If you have any information about Nicholas Hannon, call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
