    Allen McKinney


    Allen McKinney, 53, was last seen in San Augustine County on February 21. He was wearing a read Polo shirt with stripes and blue jeans. He is described as white male, blue eyes, 5 feet 11 inches, 230 pounds, gray hair and has a medium complexion. McKinney's vehicle is also missing. The SUV is described as a 4-door Ford Explorer with Texas license plates CRG - 0715.

    Search for missing man enters second week -

    SAN AUGUSTINE - by Steve W Stewart/KJAS and Rayburn Broadcasting Company

    The search for a missing man from nearby San Augustine County has entered its second week. 53-year-old Allen Ray McKinney was last seen on Friday, February 21st when he left his motherís home in San Augustine. KJAS News spoke to his mother, Thelma McKinney on Tuesday. Mrs. McKinney said her son lived with her, and he told her that he was going to visit a friend, and he would be back the following day. However, Mrs. McKinney said he never returned, and calls to his cell phone went straight to voicemail.

    We are saddened to learn that a body, thought to be that of Allen McKinney has been found. However, positive identification must still be confirmed by law enforcement investigators and medical authorities. Please keep Allenís family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time in their lives.
