CA McDonalds customers lawsuit claims being shorted on napkins

In the US anybody can sue anybody for anything at all or for nothing at all. The most recent example:

January 29, 2014, a McDonalds customer was provided only one napkin with his ‘Quarter Cheese Deluxe Burger.’
When he asked for more, conversation w manager ensued.
He felt “defamed, slandered, discriminated against and his safety was at stake.”

“Undue Mental Anguish,
Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress,
Discrimination,
Slander,
Defamation of Character,
Loss of Earning Capacity.” (!?!?!)

Plaintiff asks for (page printed PLD-PI-001 at top right, sec. #12):
Compensatory damages and punitive damages of $1,500,000.

Anybody can sue. It will be interesting to see developments in this case.

I heard about this ridiculous lawsuit. It is almost certain to be thrown out by the judge I think and hope. The courts should make it a crime to file merit less lawsuits where the pursuer can face a large fine or even jail time for wasting the courts time and resources. It is time the courts sat up and said enough is enough and did something about this. It is not funny and delays the trials of real crimes and civil suits where people have suffered real loss.

He should try the McDonald's here in Scotland the staff don't even give you one napkin you have to get them yourself from a condiments section.

His lawsuits against JITB comes as a surprise to me.

After all, in his complaint/petition against McD, he stated
"[the McD] ... manager continued his rude behavior ...
[and Lucas said], "I should have went to Jack-In-The-Box, because I didn’t come here to argue over napkins, I came here to eat....."

Does JITB has an unlimited napkin policy?

No way! Sounds like this person likes the attention he gets when he sues fast food restaurants. I hope his suit is dismissed.
