    MO - Lance Webb, 4, Waynesville, 1 March 2014

This little guy has been taken (probably) by a man his mother knows. What's weird is that, though he was reported missing yesterday, it seems he's been with this man all week.

I think MS is Mississippi, MO is Missouri. What a really odd case...

Thanks, Strykermom, I don't know the state abbreviations. It seems like there's starting to be some press about this lad. I'll go and see if I can find anything of merit.

What an odd case. Was the boy staying with C Wetherall and then he left with him and went out of town?

Is C Wetherall an aquaintance or boyfriend of the mother?

From the link above: "Wetherall was given power of attorney in January 2014 to care for the child. The power of attorney was revoked and subject was supposed to turn over the child on March 5th to the child’s grandparents. Subject refused to give the grandparents custody and Wetherall and Webb are unable to be located."

so it sounds like maybe the mother was unable or unwilling to care for her son & signed a power of attorney and when grandparents found out, they fought for custody

It sounds like this man was caring for the little boy in his mother's absense. So, it doesn't seem like he plans to hurt the boy. Maybe he is attached to the boy and doesn't want to give him to the grandparents or has some reason to think the grandparents wouldn't be a good place for the boy. Or maybe the mother doesn't want the grandparents to have the boy. It doesn't say if they are maternal or paternal grandparents or who revoked the power of attorney over the boy. Who is the boy's father? Could it be the acquaintance? Does the man know that the power of attorney over the boy was revoked and that he was supposed to return him? I imagine he does.

Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long says the search for the missing four-year-old boy from Pulaski County (Lance Webb, Jr.) and his abductor has ended, with both being located in Galion, Ohio, early Sunday.

He says Pulaski County deputies worked with Galion Police to bring the matter to a rapid and peaceful conclusion.
