    Collier deputies searching for missing Immokalee woman -

    IMMOKALEE, FL -
    Collier County deputies are searching for an Immokalee woman who has been missing since Monday. Neighbors told officials Mary Carter Smith she has not been seen for several days; and they were concerned for her welfare.
    Deputies checked Smith's residence on Rose Street, but no one was home. Authorities say they did not find anything unusual. Smith's brother who lives out of state - says he tried to contact Smith on Monday without success.

    Most of the time that I've seen it, the person has been located. There could be exceptions so it can't be assumed she is no longer missing, but it is usually the case. The general public can not view closed files.
