Clothing: Cloth and leather jacket, possible brand "Golden Bear" (size XS), medium weight, white knit sweater with a scoop neck design, dark Levi's pants, white socks, and a light colored tank top undershirt.
Jewelry: One pair of yellow metal, hoop earrings with one tiny angel on each one. One yellow metal link chain with a yellow metal, heart shaped hoop on the chain. The heart had a single white stone on it.​

Case History

A man walking his dog on the grounds of the Valencia Country Club off I-5 South in the vicinity of Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road discovered the victim's remains in a shallow grave hidden by high hedges. The remains were found about 300 feet from the practice putting green off an unpaved service road.​

For a long time, I have been thinking Rachel would be a good possible match for this Jane Doe found in Valencia, but I was never sure what part of LA she was from.

But when I saw the address given by allads, I am even more interested in this UID case as a possible match to Rachel. Valencia is a short drive up I-5 from Sherman Way (which is in the middle of the San Fernando Valley off of I-405. I-405 merges into I-5 a few miles north of Sherman Way. Valencia is an easy drive north of that - about 20 minutes from Sherman Way.

Forgive me if this has been noted before, but the uid from Katy, TX had similar earrings with the angel on a hoop.

Just thought it was a weird coincidence.

The jacket is probably from Golden Bear Sportswear, an old San Francisco company that makes high-quality work and athletic jackets. From what I've seen, their products are somewhat more readily available in California, but they do distribute nationwide.

What about Jill Beaty? She isn't listed as a rule-out, although the UID file hasnt been updated since October 2013

Height (5'6") is within Jill's estimated height range. Age and hair color match. Jill and UID have dentals available. Jill's DNA is available but testing not complete, UID also has DNA.

The investigation into Jill's disappearance indicates she may have met with foul play in California or Oregon. She was last seen August of 1994, UID is estimated to have died 1993-1995.

The thing that's bugging me is that Jill used hearing aids. I know the remains are only partial, but her earrings and other jewelry were found. I know very little about hearing aids. Jill seemed to have needed them quite badly and I doubt she would have left home without them. Would they be easily lost? Are they the sort of tracable identifier that a killer might get rid of?
 
I can recall in the very early 1990s the absolute coolest thing to have were acid washed denim jeans, preferably with patches.

GAP had a big comeback as well. They were a sort of even light blue although you could get black jeans as well.

Would "dorky" dark blue Levis imply something about the age or group affiliation of our UID?

So she was a voluntary missing adult meaning she disappeared on her own accord, makes sense because on the page you've just linked Loiene Garbett – The Charley Project: it says "Garbett may spell her first name "Lorene" and she may use the middle initial A", why else would you go under another alias?
