Valley Police Beat: Man still missing, police requesting public’s help -

EL CENTRO-
An El Centro man has been missing for at least two weeks, and police continue to ask for the public’s help in finding him. Family of Patrick John Flanagan, 63, contacted police Feb. 28 to request a welfare check on him and said he had not been seen since May last year. Officers responded to his residence on West Main Street, and it appeared that Flanagan had not been home for an extended period of time. The body of a woman was found in the home.

Boy, this is a poorly written article. He's "been missing for at least two weeks" but his family apparently hasn't "seen him since last May." (That's May of 2013.) Does that mean he's been seen by others, like neighbors, friends or co-workers? And "it appears he had not been in the home for an extended period of time." Which could mean anything. And then a woman's body is found . . . . but the police "do not suspect foul play." Hope this guy is okay.
