On her arm is a tattoo that reads “Sammy G,” and she also has knuckle tattoos. On her right hand knuckles is tattooed “God’s” and on her left is tattooed “Gift."

Jamarr Hursey will spend 20 years in prison after his charge was reduced from first-degree to second-degree murder.

Detectives said Hursey, 25, along with his girlfriend Selena Hairston, 21, committed the crime, which resulted in Myers dying from blunt force trauma to the head.

A judge on Thursday ordered the Richmond City Justice Center to permit one of the three people convicted for roles in the death of a woman found in a drainpipe to be allowed to serve her sentence in home detention.

Yvette L. Hairston agreed to a plea deal July 30 that called for her to receive a sentence of five months behind bars for helping to cover up the murder of her stepsister, Samantha Myers...

Selena Hairston was also charged with first-degree murder but was convicted of second-degree murder after entering an Alford plea to that charge in July... Hairston was sentenced to 40 years, with 23 years suspended.
