The Ultimate Warrior, a late 1980s icon of professional wrestling who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday, died Tuesday at 54.

Born James Brian Hellwig, Warrior legally changed his name in 1993.

Scottsdale, Ariz., police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark said Warrior collapsed while walking with his wife to their car at a hotel, and was pronounced dead at a hospital.

“No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own,” Warrior said at “Monday Night Raw” after donning a mask that mimicked his iconic makeup. “Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others, it makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized.” He pointed to the audience. “You are the legend-makers of Ultimate Warrior.”

Hellwig, who had his name legally changed to Warrior, made a comeback recently, beginning with a commercial for the video game WWE2K14 -- the first time he was seen regularly by the masses of fanatics he left wanting more.

In the ad, he seemingly acknowledged the rumors of his death, saying: "Not even the Grim Reaper, starving to get his hands on my Warrior soul, can keep me from hearing the battle cries of the warriors in the WWE universe to experience WWE 2K14."

We have some bizarre circumstances here with this one. WWE had the camera's rolling with Jim every step of the way in covering Warrior's return. Two documentaries offer an extraordinary glimpse into Hall Of Fame weekend.

Both are tear-jerking masterpieces. Here they are:

    Doc I

Doc II- Less edits, round-table, and a scene with him using a towel to wipe sweat.

More to come... Thanks for setting this up, Bessie.
    Luv ya,
