Suspect's ex-wife alerted police of Chester Counter shooting; Grandkids were present, but not harmed
A late-night phone call to police in Alabama led Chester County sheriff's deputies to a grisly scene early Sunday morning.
They found the body of 47-year-old Sandra Farris in the hallway of her home at 2320 Old Friendship Road in Finger - near the line between Chester and McNairy counties. They also found her two grandchildren, 5-year-old Dominique Jacoby and his 2-year-old sister, Madison, in the house. The children apparently had been spending the weekend with their grandmother, and were not physically harmed.
