Estelle, the trial was initially set down for Monday 9 June but as it turns out the 9th is a public holiday so the trial will commence on Tuesday 10 June.

I hate to be gruesome, but I read the autopsy report, and one thing really concerns me about it. The tip of a rubber glove was found in Allison's jumper. From the autopsy report, it was assumed it was from one of the SES or police who helped move her body when she was found. It seems to me that it was just written off. Surely there would have only been a few people involved, and a match could have been made to the brand of gloves the SES or police were wearing? JMO

Yes Indeed ........ The rubber glove tip found in Allison's jumper.
    But, there is more........
Those involved in the recovery operation appeared utterly scrupulous in all of their handling, including not moving anything from the position in which the body had been initially found. Not just scrupulous, but utterly professional, including having an understanding as to the significance of all actions.
    Repeat "Utterly scrupulous."

At this time, many people were concerned that this was not simply a "missing person" matter, or a "suicide" matter; This matter had all the appearances of a murder most foul. Including all cover-ups. Right from the very beginning.
Those cover-ups had the appearances of coming from high places including political places. (Admittedly some political figures might have initially been simply gullible)

Yet someone later on easily used words, like contamination at scene, when referring to that matter of the glove tip.

Question One: Where did the glove finger tip come from?
Question Two: Where is the incident report? (This is a deadly serious matter.)
Question Three: Is this a deliberate cover up? Why is this not seen as a matter of major significance?
Question Four: Is not the glove tip a matter of major importance?

So LadyBird1, is it correct that nothing more was done about the glove tip? I havent read much more than the autopsy report and the phone records. I am appalled to think the glove tip was just merely dismissed! I must admit, the autopsy report was not correct in also merely commenting about the stomach contents. It did not state - specimens to pathology of the stomach contents - but later on reading further I saw that specimens, or fluid must have been taken, but the report certainly did not state that the stomach contents were taken for sampling. Only much later in the report it showed what the stomach contents were.

It appears that Allison's body was handled with the utmost respect and care from the time of her discovery and throughout the entire recovery procedure. So much so, that her precise positioning was not altered. Not at all. Not a skerrick. Except to place her; as is, where is, and how is, onto a lifting device.

This is the reason, that I personally find the glove tip presence to be of utmost importance.
Moreover, the glove tip was found within the jumper, not on the outside.

Should a person either at the scene, or within the autopsy place "accidentally" lose a piece of his or her glove; then an Incident Report would have been mandatory.

I absolutely wholeheartedly agree with you LadyBird1.

What should we do about it?

Yes Neopolotan, This should not go under the radar. Should not be simply glossed over. Should not be fobbed off. Should not be dismissed, or discredited or had any other excuses made for its presence.

Right from the very beginning, there appears to have been people ready and willing to apply cover ups. Fast.
"Somebody" was quick to dismiss the screams in the night. Oh, and no teenage party goers have ever come forward and explained 'Sorry, it was me." No. Those screams were very probably Allison, screaming for her life.
Looking back, this was not the only red herring strewn about.
Somebody else was quick to lend a mobile phone to the POI.
