Xanax Pill Found In Child’s Plastic Easter Egg

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police in Roseville are looking for the culprit after a 4-year-old girl brought home a potentially dangerous pill from preschool.

That pill was the anti-anxiety medication Xanax, according to mother Amber Pruchniewski, who found the drug in a plastic Easter egg her little girl brought home from a hunt at Huron Park Elementary School.

“She had brought a couple of the eggs in the house with her. We’re opening them up and going through them and we noticed a little white thing,” Pruchniewski told WWJ Newsradio 950′s Marie Osborne. “I picked it up; I thought it was some kinda weird candy, and it turned out to be a pill.”
