Sean should be an easy rule-in or -out if they found the skull. He had braces and had undergone brain surgery.

There are many young men missing from San Francisco, in addition to Sean Sidi.

There have been tips called in recently about possible sightings of Chrish and Sean but nothing has come of them. I'll post the WS links and FB links that I have on the above mentioned men. They all went missing under different circumstances and some have either possible mental health issues or, as in the case with Sean, medical issues.

Keep in mind, the undertow is so great in the water at Stinson Beach down past the Golden Gate Bridge to Ocean Beach, it's possible this body is just of someone who went for a walk on the beach and got swept away, IMO.

Okay, so currents are not an issue here. I completely missed that.

Well, how about a clothing description?

Some publications have reported that the body has been identified as a male. “I don’t know if it was officially declared, but that is information that would not be available to the media so soon with [the discovering of the body] happening only on Sunday,” Sgt. Lelani Woods, public information officer from the U.S. Park Police D.C., branch says.

The park was alerted to the incident at 12:10 a.m., when the county fire department called the park with a report of a body in its jurisdiction. “A German tourist who could not speak English well stumbled across the remains when she was looking to relieve herself. She didn’t speak English well enough to conduct a 911 call, so she flagged down an American tourist who called,” said Alexandra Picavet, a park spokeswoman.

This poor woman!

"It's not on the beach or in the water. It's above the water such that it is not presumed that it washed in," said Alexandra Picavet, a spokeswoman for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

I'm trying to make sense of this quote. Could the body have been found on/between the Stinson Beach boulders? They are a mile south of town, and not far from Hwy 1, so it would be consistent with the other information released.

If the woman who found the remains was wanting to relieve herself I think she would have been more likely to be somewhere behind the bushes than on the boulders.

I'd say no to the boulders but that the quote seems (with just looking at the photo you provided) to indicate a location more like the grassy cliff on the right. Close but not that close, to the water.

I am not adept in creating maps, but…

If you look at Google Maps, there is a well established trail (between the boulders and Webb Creek) that goes from Hwy 1 to the ocean (Mickey's Beach). It's about 800-1000 feet South of the boulders and there is a trail head for cars to park. If this is the general area the deceased was found, it would make more sense to me that the body was just off of a trail (like this one) near the water. There are also a couple of other barely navigable trails (IMO) nearby. I have to say, hiking either of these at midnight (as the article indicates the tourist was doing) seems risky at best. There is such a steep grade toward the ocean, but I bet once you get there, the experience must be breathtaking.
