Police are investigating the possibility of three killings after arresting 28 year-old Clayton Courtney in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Courtney - who was covered in mud and has 'Pure Hate' tattooed across his chest - had just stabbed a male room mate and set fire to the vehicle of another, pregnant female room mate. He's reported to have told them he had already 'killed three people tonight and we're all going to die.'

The male victim's wounds were almost fatal. Since then, police have found the dead body of a woman in an area where Courtney had previously said he was going to visit, to take drugs. Police also say the mud covering the suspect did not come from the home where he was arrested.

Police have stated the woman's body is NOT that of 73 year-old local woman Mary Coulthard, who went missing last weekend.

:thud:

We had a guy somewhat like this terrorizing Oregon and California a couple of years ago. He had a GF in tow helping him too. What gets into people to want to live like this?

A judge has granted a motion to allow the medical history of murder victim Brittany Cross as evidence in the trial of her accused killer, former boyfriend Clayton Courtney. Courtney's defense is alleging that on the date of the murder, Cross told Courtney she was HIV positive after the two had maintained a sexual relationship, enraging him.

It is an apparent attempt to have 1st degree murder charges reduced.

In court Thursday, Rock County Judge Daley approved a motion to allow Mayo Clinic to test a sample of Cross's blood for HIV. On the date of the homicide, Cross reportedly told Courtney she was HIV positive and would not be able to have children with him...

According to medical records, Judge James Daley said Cross had no history of being treated for HIV. Records, however, showed she was taking medication for meningitis...

If the results show that Cross was HIV positive, Courtney's defense attorney hopes the charge would be changed to second-degree intentional homicide.
