Prosecution disappointed with former teacher's sentence in sexual assault case
Judge Felix Klein of the 154th Judicial District Court on Thursday sentenced former teacher and coach Charles Jarrod Fisher, 28, of Muleshoe to 14 years in prison on charges involving sexual crimes against a now 14-year-old girl.
He essentially got 14 years when he could have got 40," Say said, adding that Fisher will become eligible for parole in seven years.
