    Canada - Tim Kolder, 19, & Jeremy Marrows, 21, Algonquin Park, 15 May 2014

    http://www.thespec.com/news-story/45...-in-algonquin/

"A Mississauga man and member of the Canadian Armed Forces is one of two people who vanished last week after their canoes capsized in Algonquin Provincial Park."

That water is cold this time of year. Hoping they managed to make it ashore somewhere and are waiting for rescue.

Part of me believes that he's young and strong, so he should be able to survive, but, the water is so cold. Could anyone be in the water for very long?

Is it me or is this article slightly confusing?

    http://www.ecanadanow.com/canada/201...rk-identified/

“One of the survivors was wearing the only life jacket. Another was holding onto a pack. They washed up near the East Narrows and were able to get a fire going. Out of respect for the families of the deceased, I won’t go into detail beyond that.”

    But

"The OPP’s Killaloe detachment, its Emergency Response Team, marine units, aviation unit, underwater search and recovery unit continue to searc the waters with assistance from the Ministry of Natural Resources."

From what I understand, there were four people. Two survivors made it to shore, and the OPP have always been searching for the other two. It's not a a well-written article.
