The victim, Kenneth Deal, was shot to death at the intersection of 3rd and Washington. Police and prosecutors say Deal did not know his attackers and was robbed of marijuana.

Terrence T. Lee, 30, and Turhan Robinson, 37, both of Jennings, were charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and armed robbery in the fatal shooting of Kenneth C. Deal, 43, of the 600 block of Meredocia Avenue in Venice, authorities said. Robinson remained at large
