Man, 66, charged over rape and murder of Doris Fenbow at Little Bay in 1988

A MAN accused of raping and murdering a Sydney woman more than 25 years ago remains behind bars after a major breakthrough in the cold case led to his arrest last week.
The man, who cannot be named because he was 17 at the time, allegedly entered 66-year-old Doris Fenbows Little Bay home in the early hours of September 3, 1988.
Court papers allege he had sexual intercourse with Ms Fenbow without her consent sometime between 3am and 4am on the day of her death.
The man, who lived in a neighbouring unit at the time of the offence, allegedly strangled and killed her within the hour.
