    James Booher

UPDATE: Marion man missing since Saturday

Police say James Booher was last seen on Saturday, May 31, in the 5900 block of 4th Street SW in Cedar Rapids. Family and friends told police that it's "very unusual" for Booher to not have any contact with them for five days.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

A multi-jurisdictional investigation into a missing Marion man led officers to a Swisher home that is believed to be used to manufacture methamphetamine.

According to a press release from the Marion Police Department, officers were investigating the disappearance of James Booher when they learned of possible meth manufacturing at a residence near Swisher...

Booher was last seen May 31 in Cedar Rapids, he was reported missing June 3 and his vehicle was found abandoned in Cedar Rapids June 9, police say.
The article doesn't really say if James has any connection to meth or to that house. The point is, James is still missing.

May 31st marks two years since James Booher disappeared.

Family say they've come to believe he's dead. But they say this doesn't make the grieving process any easier.

"As time has gone on it's gotten harder, because we don't know nothing," Jim Bob's sister, Susie Reynolds said.
