As Bernard "Hooky" Reid was being sentenced today to 39 years to life in prison for murder, he interrupted the proceeding repeatedly to curse out the judge and insist he wasn't the one who shot and killed Elder High School student Maurice Kennedy.
"I didn't do this (expletive), man," Reid shouted to Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Martin, an outburst leading several of the women in Reid's family to jump from the audience and try to rush toward Reid. They were booted out of the courtroom as Reid's tirade continued.
"You mother (expletives) know I didn't do this (expletive), man," Reid shouted. "I didn't even touch that (expletive) gun."
