March 20, 2013

For those interested in genealogy and names. Background - Nigel’s elder brother was given “Baden” as a middle name (not hyphenated) - his children have the surname Clay.

3rd child and second son, Nigel was christened - Nigel Gerard Arden Clay. So IMO that’s where he gets so finicky about pronunciation of ‘Jerred’ – he was carrying on like a pork chop about himself, not just his son, when he challenged the prosecutor from the witness box.

GBC’s mother is Elaine Isobel Nora Baden-Clay
Gave her middle name to her daughter - Olivia Isobel Baden-Clay.

The accused was christened Gerard Robert Baden-Clay (paternal grandfather’s middle name was Robert) and of course our precious sunflower angel is Allison June Baden-Clay

thank you so much, it's handy knowing their names and what it means to them. :)

and now Olivia is a Baden Walton? How does that work out? I wonder if her kids will be Baden Walton?

We're starting with the mistress, correct?

Interesting point. I wonder will the prosecution want to establish her as 'the mistress' or 'one of the mistresses'. Will they later call another woman to establish GBC's lack of consideration for ABC's well-being.
