Authorities seek help in finding missing Dumont woman

Public help has been sought by county and local authorities looking for a Dumont woman who disappeared more than two weeks ago. Mila Kostadinova, 18, was last seen in Cresskill during the early morning hours of Monday, June 2. Anyone with information about Kostadinova's whereabouts should call the prosecutor's office tips line at 201-226-5532, or the Dumont Police Department at 201-387-5000.

It sounds as if she was having family issues, as well as an issue with an ex boyfriend. Her tweets are very telling. Considering she just moved out of her parents home into her own place I can't see her running away.

I entered 'Bergen Pines' into a Google search and came up with this:

According to her personal tweets she does state that she was at one point in rehab. I am very concerned for her as she does not sound like she was in a good state of mind when she went missing

I found her facebook, however my mobile won't allow me to post it, it's not hard to find though as it's under her name. However there doesn't seem to be much on there. Pretty young lady, seems she was interested in modeling. I searched Model Mayhem, nothing there. I hope we get another update soon, not very much out there.

Did she run away to avoid being re-admitted to Bergen Pines?

It's now been one-month since 18 year-old Mila Kostadinova disappeared from Dumont, New Jersey.

Its now been one-month since 18 year-old Mila Kostadinova disappeared from Dumont, New Jersey. Her Twitter page went silent June 2, 2014, but prior to that it painted a picture of a sad and angry young woman who wanted out of her family home and ultimately left.

Since then no one has seen or heard from Kostadinova. Her brother Sava spoke out about his missing sister and explained that before her disappearance she was having issues at home, but he said that hes very close with her and its not like his little sister to just leave. He thinks something must have happened to her...

At this point, Sava said that the family is desperately looking for any indication that Mila is okay and they are hoping that they can get some indication that she is alive.

Kostadinova was wearing a gray sweatshirt, pajama pants and brown Converse sneakers when she was last seen in Cresskill, authorities say.

She is described as being 5-foot-2 and about 90 pounds. She is fair-skinned with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She is known to carry her cellphone and iPad and a "small amount of cash." She also sometimes wears glasses.

There is speculation of possible drug involvement either with people she may have known or interacted with. Law enforcement has indicated that something probably happened to her.

At this time her mother is in Bulgaria where Kostadinova had a prior ticket to go and visit. The family originally hoped that she used that ticket, but after checking with the airline, that ticket was never used.

I hope they find her. Dumont is about 20 minutes away from me, and the Cliffview Pilot is a online newspaper written in my town. She seemed very sad, just days leading up to her disappearance. I think she may be living with friends or by herself w/no help. Did the Police trace her cell phone pings? Maybe that will help pinpoint where her last whereabouts were.
