The Hamilton County sheriff is seeking information on a missing man in Miami Township. Officials said Paul Bramlage, 54, has not been seen or heard from in almost a month.

Paul Bramlage, 54, of Miami Township, had not been seen or heard from in nearly a month when he was reported missing, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Bramlage's nephew was brought in for questioning Thursday after he was located for unrelated traffic warrants, the release states. Officials said Cory Hall, 38, then took them to Bramlage's body in Dearborn County, Indiana.

Hall was charged with one count of murder and one count of abuse of a corpse, the release states.

Cory Hall, 38, is in jail, charged with murder and abuse of a corpse. According to court documents, Hall is accused of shoving the handle of a cast-iron skillet down Bramlage's throat until he was unconscious, then beating his head against the kitchen floor.

Neighbors said the uncle and nephew lived together, and they never saw this coming...

After detectives questioned Hall he led them to his uncle's body in Dearborn County, Indiana.

The man who brutally killed his uncle in a Miami Township home last summer will spend the next 14 years in prison.

On Thursday, Cory Hall took a plea deal from Hamilton County prosecutors.

According to court officials, Hall pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence. All other charges pending against Hall were dropped as part of the deal.
