A Long Island nanny has been arrested after being accused of leaving a three-year old-girl alone in a hot car.

Police say they arrested Christine Nunes after someone called police about the little girl who was locked in a car in the parking lot of the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
Nunes allegedly left the girl alone for a half-hour while she went shoplifting at Target.
