When 11Alive's Ryan Kruger tested it on Thursday, the drive from the Chick-fil-A to Harris' office took less than three minutes. Harris told police it was enough time for him to forget his son was in the backseat.

Cooper Harris's daycare is located at the Home Depot Corporate Headquarters off Paces Ferry Road. His father works at the Home Depot "Treehouse Office" located about a mile away on Cumberland Parkway.

The only shot I can find of the parking lot during the day, is one where you can see it in the reflection.

"The family is trying to obtain pictures from the family's laptop that was seized as a part of the investigation into Cooper's father Justin Ross Harris."

"Cobb County Police say they aren't allowing that because the laptop is being used as evidence in the on-going criminal investigation into Ross Harris."

The newspaper said the father conducted the search in the days before the June 18 incident in which he left 22-month-old Cooper inside an overheating SUV in the baking Georgia sun.

Harris conducted the search for information about how long it takes animals to die in hot cars on his work computer, the Daily News reported.

The story was first reported by an Atlanta Fox affiliate, citing police sources.

    Who is Justin Ross Harris?

The truth is, we don't know much. Police and prosecutors are being tight-lipped about the case against Harris, who is charged with felony murder and second-degree child cruelty in the death of 22-month-old Cooper Harris.
He's refusing visitors to the Cobb County jail -- including CNN. His family isn't talking, and his attorney has not returned repeated telephone calls from CNN.

He held jobs at the University of Alabama from August 2001 until May 2006 as a parking monitor and later as a mail delivery clerk, said Cathy Andreen, university director of media relations.
He worked as a police dispatcher in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, from June 10, 2006, to May 22, 2009, according to Police Department spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley. He said the department would confirm only Harris' tenure, and not any details from his work history, so we don't know why he left the job.

In May 2012, Harris graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in commerce and business administration, having majored in management information systems, Andreen said.
The boy's mother, Leanna Harris, is listed as having the same home address as the father, but she told CNN last week that she's been advised not to discuss the case with the media

"You wonder where this stuff comes from," Officer Mike Bowman told PEOPLE on Thursday. Bowman was referring to reports that the child's father, Justin Ross Harris, did an Internet search for how long it takes for an animal to die in a hot car.

"There is a lot of speculation and a lot of innuendo," Bowman said. "We are not releasing anything of evidentiary value. Our detectives are working tirelessly and with due diligence to make sure this case is not tainted, and that we're able to get an impartial jury."

What to make of this quote; no search???

Police . . . are frustrated with rumors circulating around the case.

    as to rigor reports

Eyewitness Edward Cockerham, 49, told MailOnline: 'I was interviewed by the police last night and I told them I thought the guy was acting, he was really over-reacting to the situation.

'I know he had lost his baby but he was acting up more than he should have been. It seemed like acting to me. When he pulled in and people started asking him what had happened, he said that the baby had just started choking.

    SNIP

Artiyka also believes the baby had been dead for many hours before Harris pulled the child out of the car.
'The baby was a grey/blue color, not its natural color. I know he was in the car seat but when the dad placed him on the ground his legs stayed in the same sitting position, as if he was laying on the ground with his knees up in the air stiff. It wasn't natural.

Very confusing. Article about office search from June 20 headline reads: Authorities searched dead toddler’s father’s office before arrest

First statement in the article reads:

In the hours after a distraught father was taken away in handcuffs, Cobb County investigators searched the man’s workplace for clues to the death of his 22-month-old son.

Which is it? Before or after?
