I haven't been able to find an UID or missing thread for Darrell J Hill, so have opened a new one. He's been identified, 20 years after his remains were found.

'PURDY, Wash. A skeleton found dumped along State Route 16 in Purdy nearly 20 years ago has been identified.

The remains of Darrell J. Hill, 30, were discovered in a ditch along the highway near mile marker 14 in Purdy on December 23, 1994. He had been shot in the head several times.'

ETA: Darrell went missing from LA and his remains were originally identified as female.

A report by KIRO-TV Seattle said the remains of Darrell J. Hill, 30, were discovered in a ditch along the highway near mile marker 14 in Purdy on December 23, 1994. He had been shot in the head several times.

It took decades to identify the remains as technology did not exist at the time to do so and Hill's remains were once misidentified as female.

Hill went missing in Los Angeles in March 1993 under what police then called suspicious circumstances, according to the report which also notes the identification of the remains has not solved the young man's murder or brought investigators any closer to determining why he was killed or how he ended up in Washington State.
