MA - Monster 'busted time and time again', Boston, 2005

    http://news.bostonherald.com/localRe...format=&page=2

There were many chances to halt Raymond Diamond's lifetime rampage of rape, a brutal history that began with his conviction for sexual assault as a teen and includes a 2003 case in which he was accused of a vicious daylong sex attack on an Atlanta woman visiting Boston.

He was even arrested in February for failing to register as a sex offender - a potential felony.
Yet the Level 3 sex predator managed to stay on the streets of Dorchester, receiving short sentences for vicious crimes or skirting prosecution entirely, according to a review of his criminal record.

Diamond, 43, has been convicted of rape three times and arrested for seven sexual attacks. His six-page rap sheet marks 38 arrests on charges including robbery, drugs, a prison escape and domestic violence stretching back to 1975.
    [...]
Diamond is now behind bars, held on $1 million cash bail in connection with his latest alleged sex attack: Tuesday's kidnapping and knife-point rape of a Dorchester woman who escaped and ran several blocks - despite a stab wound to her leg - to a police station for help.
Arresting officers said Diamond was wearing a condom and hollered, ``You ain't got nothing on me! You ain't gonna get my DNA!''

These guys are bad enough, but what really gets me angry is a system that lets them off time after time! I mean this guy sounds like a real danger and the system lets him out time after time to do it again!
Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

This may not be a popular opinion, but instead of giving time off for good behavior, I'd be all for letting some non-violent offenders out for trash control inside prisons. How about "take care of a rapist and give a few years off your sentence"????

But Jeana, even a rapist has rights and that would go against his rights.

Oh and I am just kidding.
