SC - Parents arrested after 10-month-old ingests meth
WILLIAMSTON--The parents of a 10-month-old baby have been arrested after doctors found methamphetamine in his system.
Patrick Russell Cromer and Tonya Rene Hollingsworth took the infant to the hospital early Wednesday morning because he was behaving strangely, Anderson County Sheriff's spokeswoman Susann Griffin said.
"He was acting restless and dazed. He was just going from one extreme to the other," Griffin said.
Investigators still are trying to determine how the baby was exposed to the drugs, Griffin said. A 6-year-old child also was living in the home, deputies said.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
