Some construction workers in Kansas City, MO, were suddenly alerted to an explosive fire breaking out in the garage of a nearby residence.
They rushed to the rescue but the senior lady inside was alarmed, and slammed the door on them. They persevered though, and managed to get her out just as her dining room went up in flames behind her.
Mrs Able is unharmed, and Mr Able has thanked Chris Mitchell and his fellow workers most deeply.
