I think this Dutch article says something along the lines of; following the bad news of confirmation of identities, the families will continue to search for answers to the many questions that remain, and that how the girls were killed must be examined.

Please correct me if that's wrong. It's google translation.

You can never ever tell something is not important until you know what actually happened...
I agree this could provide a very important clue on how the young women died.

I interpret it the same way. They do not consider the case closed or resolved. There's more investigation that needs to occur.

I don't understand why there is a new thread?
Can you still quote something from the first thread or is that not possible?

We were not following the forum rules and the WS had to do too much modsnips. I think better not to quote from previous thread unless you are sure it meet forum guidelines.

About Blue (the dog), maybe we could try to find out more about the exact time he returned and about his habits (does he stay overnight with hikers, does he return when the weather turns bad, when 'his' hikers go somewhere he cannot go, like the cable bridge etc.).

I think it could be really helpful to know where the girls were, when Blue left them. Or if they in fact did return with him.
Does anyone know if the local who saw the girls enter the forest also knows if Blue was with them?
