A Franklin County, Kentucky woman did what thousands do every day; took a selfie and posted it on her Facebook page. Only, this time,
'Police say 27-year-old Danielle Saxton stole from a downtown boutique last week. Then, she posted pictures of herself wearing the merchandise. Investigators say Saxton shared the pics just a few hours after the theft. The images quickly spread on Facebook, and led officers straight to her.'
The store owner says he'd seen her leave with a very distinctive, leopard print dress, and posted a picture of it and what happened, on his own FB page. Other users quickly made the connection and alerted police, who say that from the photos, they were able to work out where Saxton 'was at'. (don't know how!)
'Talluto says Saxton still had the clothes in her hand when officers arrived. They arrested her and later found she was wanted on another warrant in Jackson County. Tallutos not surprised by the help from social media.'
