GUILTY Canada - Catherine 'Catie' Miller, 29, Dartmouth, NS, 15 July 2014

There is a facebook page

According to FB, she has a son and missed an important meeting with her lawyer

She seems to be a very loved young lady

the lawyer's appointment mentioned in the articles is 'possible' clue. I hope that the other party (if there is/was one) is not the one responsible for her disappearance (just in case this is a child support/custody matter that is pending).

Not finding any news updates on this

According to FB, police and crimestoppers are involved
Searched with a dog around her apartment and harbour area
She lives very near the harbour
I lived in that area many moons ago

:bump:

Can't help but think about the past cases out of Saint John, NB.

Still missing
Still no answers for this family

A day before, a few blocks away, on Lahey Road, a 50-year-old man had been robbed and shot in the torso.

And that Tuesday exactly three weeks ago was just after the fatal Cabot Trail bus crash.

But John Miller is asking all Nova Scotians to comb through their memories of that day in case they saw his daughter, Catie.
Catie Miller

Catie, whose full name is Catherine, sent Miller’s wife a text at 11:11 a.m. that day and hasn’t been seen since. The 29-year-old had recently moved to an apartment near the corner of Windmill Road and Stairs Street.

Her family hadn’t learned the details of whatever new daily routine she had established in the neighbourhood, Miller said.

Catie doesn’t have a car and she usually travels by bus or taxi, her father said. He doesn’t think she has been in the habit of going downtown very often, mostly staying closer to home.

“As far as we know she was at her apartment” that morning, he said. “She had only been in that apartment for a few months, so we’re not really sure where she went from there.” She has struggled with depression in the past, but her family had no reason to think it had been a problem recently.

She hasn't used her phone or social media, or accessed her bank account since, her father says.

Catie had been separated from her husband for about 18 months. They had a working agreement for the care of their 3½-year-old son, her father says.

She doesn't have a car. Her last phone call was to Bluebell taxi on July 15. Her family believes she does not own a valid passport.
