An old article but looks like Ruth's daughter is still looking for information http://www.wlox.com/Global/story.asp?S=3276397
Her mother died in 2008 and Ruth was listed as still alive in the obituary, I admit that made my heart drop a little

I got a note from the NamUs Regional Admin that someone accidentally entered the dentals of a Brevard County Florida UP into Ruth's NamUs MP casefile.
Apparently, back in 1985, Mississippi LE looked at the Florida UP as a possible match to Ruth, and the UP dental records were in Ruth's casefile. When NamUs asked for Ruth's dentals, they looked into Ruth's casefile and sent them the dentals for the florida UP. I am guessing that the Brevard County UP was UP1234 (i.e., DoeNet 523UFFL http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/523uffl.html )
They are sorting it all out now, but the RA says that LSU Faces lab would not have caught the error had I not submitted Ruth as a possible to UP7411.
Still no word whether Ruth is a match to UP7411.
