TX - Rocio Montoya, 24, brutally murdered, Pasadena, 21 July 2014
Investigators say he lured Montoya away from her home in the early-morning hours of July 21, then beat and strangled her before setting her on fire.
Montoya’s body was found around 5:15 a.m. in a field near a retention pond in the 6600 block of Olson Lane, not far from her home. A passerby called police after spotting the fire.
Police said she was severely burned, and had a jagged type of wound penetrating her left cheek.
A suspect has been arrested in the death of a woman who was found burned in the woods, according to the Pasadena Fire Marshal.
Jose Noriega, 37, was taken to the Harris County jail late Wednesday, just hours after he was named a person of interest in the case... Investigators said Noriega had a child together with Montoya, but he was married to another woman.
Noriega has been charged with murder. Online jail records do not list an attorney for Noriega, whose bond was set at $70,000.

The horrific things men do to women, especially when there's child support or alimony involved.
And; HIS BOND IS ONLY 70K???? What was that judge thinking?"If you can't say anything nice about someone, come sit here by me."
