A 6 year old little boy with autism decided to drive out of a safe NY play area on his motorized all-terrain vehicle, while grandma's back was turned for a moment.
As she reported him missing, he hit the road in the form of the busy Bronx River Parkway, and kept on going. Emergency calls started coming into police, but before they could get there, three kind motorists shielded the little one with their vehicles, and guided him to the side of the road. One motorist then jumped out and got him.
A safe and happy ending for all.
